Located in front of the harbor and a few steps from the Mythic casino and elegant boutiques, the hotel, built in Belle Epoque style has an intimate and congenial atmosphere. Located Near The Casino, overlooking The Harbour Of Monte Carlo and The Princes Palace, Hotel Hermitage has been a landmark since 1900 and is a Registered Historical Monument.
A recent refurbishment has introduced a harmonious blend of the classic and contemporary : The winter garden with Gustave Eiffel dome, the Limun Bar and the Belle Epoque room all combine to bring elegance and excellence to the Hôtel Hermitage experience. Last but not least, guests enjoy direct access to the serene Thermes Marins de Monte Carlo, the most beautiful spa in Europe, spreading over 6600 m2 and overlooking the sea. After one year of reconstruction, the Hôtel Hermitage now has 280 bedrooms and suites compared to 229 previously.
The apotheosis of the last phase is the addition of two story to the “Princes” and “Beaumarchais” wings and the reconstruction of the façade identical to the original.
These two new floors — covering a surface area of 4200 m² — boast 46 standard bedrooms and a salon, 8 VIP apartments including a duplex with a solarium and a jacuzzi, a junior suite and two VIP bedrooms. The apartments (140 and 180 m²), overlooking the port, have high ceilings and fabulous views. Guests have been enjoying these dreamlike accommodations — offering both privacy and a personalized service — since 15th May.
Dining
The restaurant ‘Le Vistamar’, with its extensive seafood menu, opens out onto the most beautiful terrace in Monte-Carlo. Decorated as a luxury classical boat, fresh fish from the last fishing family of Monaco is brought in daily. This restaurant overlooking the harbor is entirely dedicated to the Mediterranean Sea.
Recreation facilities
Arguably Europe's finest spa, Les Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo overlooks the Mediterranean with 300 days of sunlight per year. The spa combines the ancient tradition of the classic spa with the latest in marine therapy, offering the finest selection of beauty and regenerative spa treatments. Natural sea water is used throughout the spa. The spa is medically supervised and has a staff of professional beauticians providing constant attention to hygiene and safety throughout the spa. Use of the swimming pool and exercise room is complimentary to hotel guests. A fee applies for all other services. The spa is connected to the hotel by a dedicated elevator and is open 7 days a week from 0900 to 2000.
