You can easily travel to the track by car, but please note that it is law, when renting a car, that non-Chinese must also hire a driver. This is not a  bad thing, as your driver will not only be familiar with the city, but also with its occasionally erratic driving habits (compulsory driving tests were only introduced in 2004).

Alternatively, we recommend using the new Metro which has recently been built at SIC and will take you directly to the track. Special buses will also take you to the circuit from selected points around the city.
