Would you like to be close to the F1 teams pit garages and have the cars at less than half a meter from you? That's possible at Catalunya on Thursday 7 May 2009, when spectators holding a three-day ticket have access to the traditional visit to the pit-lane, in the morning from 10.00 to 12.30 and in the afternoon from 16.00 to 19.00.
F Grandstand Located at the end of the first straight in Turn 1. Here, one is able to see the braking and downshifting into the turn, where most of the overtaking occurs. It offers a view of a large screen T.V. These seats are highly recommended.

Main Grandstand Covered grandstand facing the start / finish line and the pits. A giant screen enables you to follow the action elsewhere on the track.

B Grandstand Located in what is known as the “Stadium”, this grandstand offer you good views of the racing cars exiting from the La Caixa Hairpin, going into the 3rd gear 120 kph right-hander the Banc Sabadell Corner. They then accelerate into another 240 kph right-hander, the Europcar corner. this grandstand offer bigscreen viewing, which makes it so much easier for you to keep track of what is happening later on during the race.

I Grandstand This covered grandstand can accommodate 2700 spectators and is located on the outside of the last but very important corner of the circuit - the New Holland Corner - which is taken in 5th gear at 225 kph, with only a small lift on entry. The cars use a lot of kerb on this final corner, and many top drivers have almost come to grief on the dust at the exit, before accelerating towards the start finish line. This corner is taken with only the slightest lift off throttle, and generates extremely high lateral forces of 3,5 G's, probably one of the highest in Grand Prix racing. The big screen opposite this grandstand intensifies the drama and magnifies the action on other parts of the circuit.

E Grandstand Located at the end of the main straight, it has become an emblematic grandstand at the Circuit de Catalunya. From this grandstand you have a perfect view of the impressive braking before the first turn. This is the point where most overtaking takes place. Recommended gates: 5 and 6.
